I took out a wall, I have wood in each room (built in 1986 the floor is glued) what can I do to close up the space where the wall was? appreciate any idesa

are hard to match without refinishing the whole things however.

I am betting you may have this wood in a closet. a flooring contractor will be able to piece these in to make it look great.

If you attempt this on your own be sure not to put all the ends in a line. The ends need to be staggered or your floor will look like you have a patch.

I wish I did have the wood, only 3 short pieces not enough to do the job. thanks for the info on staggering. thought about putting tile to blend it

I'm also agree with ellisonjs that it'll be the best option to hire a contractor. They are expert at these kind of critical situations.

I think making it into a closet or storage area would be a good idea

A big closet, or small playroom, or a spare bed may work
