The navigation is impressively smart, with efficient, patterned cleaning that avoids the aimless wandering some cheaper bots are guilty of.
I’ll be honest: this isn’t a budget-friendly machine. The Beatbot AquaSense 2 sits at the higher end of the price spectrum. But after months of real-world use, I genuinely think it’s worth the investment—especially if you’re using your pool often and want a set-it-and-forget-it solution that doesn’t cut corners. The time and effort it’s saved me, particularly in a debris-heavy outdoor setting, makes it one of the most helpful devices I own.
Did I mention it’s wireless too? Another thing I love about this—no messy cables or hoses. You grab the robot off its charging base, toss it into the pool, then watch it sink down to the bottom and get to work. Dirt and debris get collected in a little basket inside the robot, which is very simple to pull out and empty.
