Leatherman is about to do something it rarely does – bring back some of its most sought-after tools.

Starting March 31, the brand will open its “From the Vault” event, a limited, once-a-year release featuring rare, retired, and experimental designs from its Garage series. These aren’t typical multitools but they’re small-batch builds that were originally released in limited quantities and quickly disappeared, often becoming collector pieces.

The event runs for three days, with new tools dropping each morning at 9 a.m. PST. Some will be available to purchase immediately, while others will only be available through a lottery system, with winners selected after the Vault closes on April 3.

How the Vault Works

  • New tools drop daily at 9 a.m. PST from March 31 through April 2
  • Some tools are available for direct purchase (first-come, first-served)
  • Others require entering a lottery while the Vault is open
  • Lottery winners are selected after the event ends on April 3
  • Once the Vault closes, most tools are not expected to return

Leatherman is kicking off the event with a mix of instantly purchasable tools and highly sought-after lottery entries from its Garage lineup.
