Memorial Day Weekend is not exclusively for grilling—I’m planning on baking more than a few pizzas out on the patio, too. If you don’t already have a pizza oven, now’s the time to get one: Ooni’s Memorial Day Sale includes 20 percent off almost everything you need, from its beloved ovens to peels, covers, tables, and accessories. (Practically every oven except for its newest Koda 2 line of gas-powered pizza ovens, which debuted this spring in black and slate blue, which we’re currently testing.)

Our favorite deal? The 16-inch Karu 2 Pro is nearly $160 off in Ooni’s sale. The second generation of the model we named the best overall outdoor pizza oven is now only $639 and change—the best price we’ve ever seen. Better yet, it ticks a lot of the same boxes that we loved in its predecessor: It works well with wood, charcoal, or gas (if you add the gas burner, sold separately); reaches a top temperature of 950 degrees Fahrenheit; and cooks family-sized pizzas up to 16 inches in diameter. Plus, the built-in thermometer now sends temperature readings to your phone via Bluetooth and the Ooni mobile app.

Ooni also marked 30 percent off its indoor pizza oven, the Volt 12. Now only $629, this is a great option for anyone who prefers to cook indoors or who simply wants to weatherproof their dinner plans. Our tester Lizzy Briskin gave a 5-star rating to the Volt 12, noting, “I was impressed by how quickly this oven reached sky-high temps (beyond what my wall oven would even attempt) and by how well it maintained its heat.”

Will This Be the Last Great Sale from Ooni?

For anyone who has been on the fence with a pizza oven in the past, this holiday weekend may be the last chance to get prices this low. Ooni announced to its customers this week that the company will start increasing its prices on June 2.

In an email on May 21, Ooni shared:

Unfortunately, recent tariffs have significantly impacted our production costs, making selling some of our products at current prices unsustainable. We’ve worked actively with suppliers and partners to soften the impact as much as possible, and the upcoming price changes reflect that.

You might be saying to yourself, “Didn’t those tariffs just go down?” The answer is that for some folks, yes, tariffs have eased somewhat. For Ooni, and a lot of other brands like us, the story is much more complicated. There are still material tariffs in place, and those very much affect almost all of our products.

Raising prices isn’t an easy decision. In fact, it’s the last thing we want to do. Our mission is to deliver the most innovative, trailblazing cooking products in the world, at the best possible price that represents exceptional value for the quality of the product.

Snap up either of these ovens at their lowest prices while you still can.
