anyone have any experience with eagleshield insulation? I've been solicited by that company, and want to know if the product works. or, any other input anyone may have.

It is a reflective type insulation, very thin, but like a mirror I'd guess.

thanks

This product is awesome! It was designed by NASA and is a High Peformance Insulation that drops utility bills up to 44% and makes people cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Eagle Shield is the only Insulation company that is endorsed by Nasa and they have exclusivity with the Space Foundation. They are by far the most credible and respected Insulation Contractor in the nation. You can see their Dunn and Bradstreet report to see why they are rated number one. Their website is www.eagleshieldinsulation.com

There is a video you can watch on their site.

Hope this helps

We have had a very unfortunate experience with EagleShield. It has nothing to do with the insulation material itself, which gets very high marks on various forums. It is just that the installation process was badly scheduled, badly administered, and some of the work on the blow-in wall installation was just not up to professional standards. This may vary across different EagleShield providers; the work done for us was out of Dublin, California.

Hmmm, my husband and I were considering having this product installed in our home. Our sales rep put on a great presentation. Gave us energy saving tips. We were impressed. But, after reading this comment on the problems with the actual installation (which we never considered), and the other bad reviews on google mostly regarding poor installation, we most likely will not go ahead. We even made phone calls to happy consumers. I feel that Eagleshield should have taken care of their customers and made sure there were no unhappy customers. That's what a reputable business does.
