We have an old ***** Coldspot Refrigerator from the 1970's. About 3 days ago the refrigerator began leaking water from the rear or bottom onto the floor. The floor is now saturated (we have a carpeted kitchen). Does anyone know how to find out where the leak is, and how to fix it. Thank you in advance for your help!!

Cut and install a piece of cardboard to fit under the fridge and have a look at it periodically to see if you can find the place of origin before it leaks all over.

Check the bottom of the freezer to see if ice has formed. May have blocked the drain hole and that may cause leaks as the defrost cycle functions. Also check the drain pan to insure that it is not over flowing.
