I just had a new Whirlpool Quiet partner IV installed (model # GU2600XTPB-0).

I ran a small load just to test things out. I used the dry option but the dishes and silverware were still wet.

any suggestions?

If the appliance is *brand new* and you have any doubts about it functioning, you should have it looked at under its warranty.

Hi,

Thats a common complaint about dishwashers.

If the heating element works, then get some Jet Dry Rinse Aid, either the liquid or the hanging baskets.

Make sure you run the hot water at the sink just b4 you start the dishwasher, to flush the cold water out of the line.

Make sure water temp. is about 130 degrees coming out of your water heater.

Failing those....call for a warranty service call like Dan mentioned :)
