Does anyone happen to know the strokes per minute for this saw? It is not a variable speed.... I can't find the owners manual for it anywhere.... Thanks

Wow..... I am amazed at the expertise shown here at Bob Vila dot com.... over a month and not one person has a clue... nor does anyone even have the decency to give a pointer as to somewhere else I can look for this info (being as this site comes across now as quite useless)...... My name (aoratos) means invisible in Greek.... perhaps I should've chosen a better nick.... or perhaps y'all should keep better ventilation in your garages as the fumes seem to have slowed you down....

quite jaded,

Take it easy aoratos. If you want someone to give you bogus info I can. If we don't know we don't answer. Do you mean you can't find the owner's manual in your garage or you tried looking at S E A R S? I have always had luck ordering manuals from companies. Give that a try.

KALIMERA aoratos. (hopefully that came across as "good morning" in Greek.)

Yes, please be gentle to our nice little forum. We try and help each other out, and often do a pretty good job. I've found lots of real expertise here.

(Also: I've been a homeowner for over 20 years and never--even once--had need for a scroll saw. Perhaps this isn't the right forum anyway?)
