help! the debate between concrete and pavers has come up over at our house. we are in humid, shifting houston texas & want to re-do the driveway. why concrete or why pavers on this terrain? the driveway would be 100 x 12 feet

I would offer two items - 1) concrete will not seperate and become "upset" the way pavers can in a freeze-thaw cylce, 2) you will never have to use the weedeater over the concrete, and 3) if you are looking for anything besides perfectly straight lines, the concrete is much easier to manipulate.
You could also have the concrete colored and stamped or textured to look like brick, slate, cobblestone, etc.. for about the same price.
