Basically, our mod is a good home. Siding is not too good (very thin). We replaced some of the lighting fixtures (our taste mostly). Heat pump is not sufficient when temp goes into single digits. Have added unvented 32,000 btu fire logs to fireplace which helps us stay cozy immensely. May add another supplemental propane wall heater in the kitchen/eating area before next winter. We added: separate garage, porches, sidewalk, storage shed, and repainted some of the rooms (our taste--altho I should say, the orig flat paint was not very good - couldn't be washed and was very thin). Two things we learned: high mod taxes and expensive lot preparation. But we like this home. Excellent plumbing fixtures, insulation and floor plan. Just ask a lot of questions before signing the papers. E-mail us at nachosupreme@mac.com for more info.

We are going to do the Richfield Plant Tour for a Richfield modular in about 3 wks.. Glad that you like your Richfield modular. Believe I seen the triple mod you purchased from Luvs Homes in Kpt, tn.. Loved it..
Feel in love w/ that kitchen... Do you know if there is an "upgrade" for the siding?? I've seen the kind w/ the foam behind it at another place.... We are going through Luvs in Kpt, Tn also, Johnny Christian is our sales person.. He is super nice.... I do have a question, did you do a basement foundation? If so, care to give a est price of that cost? We wasn't aware of the Tn Mod Taxes nor the building permit fee was so pricey... Thanks for the warning on those.... We will be putting our in Bristol,Tn city... Also, thanks for the input on the flat paint too... I like to wash down the walls when I Spring & Fall cleaning.. Tks for all your input of your experience... Very helpful...
