i need help!!!

i stained my bare concrete floor twice with QUICKRETE semi-transparent stain. first grey (didn't like the color) than terra cotta. unfortunately i waited 24 hrs in between coats to do so. in the meantime the first grey coat of stain sealed the floor as it dried and the second color terra cotta couldn't penetrate through. result: i have this beautiful floor (matte / satin / faux-like) just the way i like it.....BUT: it won't stay !!!! i can

rub off the paint if i try hard enough with a wet sponge, or scratch with a nail (ouch !). WHAT SURFACE SEALER IS OUT THERE that would not give me a crazy high gloss result (i think epoxy clear sealer is probably the way to go...but i don't like the shine !) this is not a garage floor, but a home decor store, with traffic.
