I have just recently purchased a home in which the bathroom has bright pink ceramic tile from the floor to midway up each wall. The tile is in excellent condition and is oringinal to the home (1954), but the color is outdated. Is it possible to paint over ceramic tile, if so is it something I could do or should it be hired out? I would prefer to have it painted then to have to have it all ripped out and replaced just because of the color. Also if it can be painted is it also possible to paint floor tile? Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
