I've found several types of sealer on the shelf. Does anybody know what's the best way to go for a newly tiled shower?
There is spray-on, sponge-on, etc. Also, different brands. What's best?
And I want to know -- will any of these discolor porcelain tile?

- best type of sealer for new shower tile grout
Apply one coat of Stain-Proof on the grout lines. That can be sprayed or brushed on the whole surface if you like or you can shoot for just the grout lines. It won't matter.
Wait for it to dry. Overnight if you can.
Then apply a coat of Marble & Porcelain Sealer over your porcelain tiles and the grout. The porcelain will remain easier to clean for a very very long time. The grout will remain stain-proof forever.
Open a window. It is alcohol-based.
Use any cleaner to clean - even bleach.
If you opt for any other sealer, plan to reseal occasionally, unless your cleaners remove the sealer more quickly.

Hey AMJ, thanks for the good info.
I tried Loz, HD, and AceHdw. No luck.
Do I need to go to a tile supplier? Who makes Stain-Proof?
