Jodi M. Webb is a writer from northeastern Pennsylvania. She started working with the Bob Vila team in 2024. With the help of her husband John Tropp, a contractor for three decades, she writes about electrical work, gardening, landscaping, plumbing, and roofing.
Experience
Jodi is primarily a writer, but after marrying a contractor who specializes in electrical work, she became familiar with the world of “projects” as an unpaid assistant to her husband, a contractor, helping him with everything except his roofing jobs.
Her husband, John Tropp, graduated with an electrical degree and started his own electrical contractor business, eventually adding plumbing, roofing, paving, and concrete work.
Education
Jodi graduated magna cum laude from Alvernia University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government.
