I've been pricing windows lately and was looking at Alside's UltraMaxx 7000 windows. Today I went to a local window showroom/manufacturer and saw Vinylast windows. Salesman said his were at least the equal of the Alside's but Vinylast are the only windows he sells. Anyone familiar with them, went to their website and didn't see much info. There was no documentation of the windows performance either in their literature or on the website and that scares me. Alside had much info about theirs. Thanks for any information you may have to share.

You will NEVER go wrong with the UltraMaxx! Alside is a great company who has been around for a long time, and if there is a problem in the future, they stand behind their products. I have been in the home improvement market most of my life, and they are the only window company I look at whenever I need a window.
That being said, you may want to check that model number. I think The UltraMaxx is a 6000 series.

Good Luck!

The glass in one of my windows cracked last month. They are Vinyl Last brand. I am looking for a dealer in the Grand Haven, mi area to get the glass replaced. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
