Outside my 3 year old home, there is a shady area where the windows have some sort of algae/fungus growing on them. How can I clean this? Is it possible to dismantle the windows to clean them? What I mean is the tic-tac-toe square molding that divides the "panes" up. Its just an overlay, but wondering if I can replace that if need be because this algae is really bad.

If the window was properly painted, the algae really shouldn't have done any damage.

I have a few interior windows with mold. They are old enought that I will spray them with a bleach solution, sand, prime and repaint them.

Your windows are so new, I am wondering if they were properly prepared or treated.

I would clean the area with a mild bleach solution and a soft cloth/sponge to see what needs to be done.

Your window may have a warranty on it's finish.
