I have had this drill for several years and like it for the most part. But the one feature that I dislike with not only this drill but all drills that use a keyless chuck is that too often it is impossible to open the chuck without a wrench. Now I have reached the place where there is no way that I can get the chuck open to remove the drill bit. Any solutions to this problem?

Try WD40 sprayed on the chuck and any where else that need be. Put drill in vise and rap rope around the chuck and see if you can us a stick or other stiff object to move the chuck.

I always put the drill in reverse grab the chuck with a strong grip and pull the trigger.
