I have a white oval Solarware drop-in vanity sink with plastic (self-rimming?) molding. Lately, I've noticed an orange discoloration in the crevice between the sink and the molding. I've tried cleaning with various cleaners, bleach, rags, toothpicks, etc. A bit of orange will rub off, but more remains or comes back. I assume the orange may be rust. Is there a good method, short of replacing the sink, to remove it? Should I remove the molding, treat the discoloration somehow, then apply silicone or get another oval plastic piece of molding? Any advice would be appreciated.
