Hi,

I had a walk through of my new house earlier this month and discovered the walls and ceilings of the entire house are filled with pinholes. Not only there are pinholes, there are also missing textures and gauges as well. Even worse, there are areas where a different layer of mud was splattered on top of the first one creating an entirely different texture.

The subcontractors from the builder said they will re-skim the drywall. I would like to know if this is going to solve all the problems.

Thanks,

PW

Hi I’m curious if they have resolved your issues? Because currently I’m experiencing the same thing

The pin holes could be from the painter. When they use a sprayer to apply the paint they still need to use a roller to spread the paint. This will help the paint bond to the drywall. They also need to use a brush or a corner roller in the corners or the paint will crack in the corner. I've seen many contractors blame this cracking on the dryall finisher.
