Large water-filled bubbles between old and new paint layers after window replacement
Recently replaced old windows with new Marvin units and 2 months later there are large bubbles full of water between the old and new paint layers, scattered around the exterior wall below and next to the new windows, none above them. Largest is about 7 inches across. Inside looks dry and clean. It's been raining a lot and I see the bubbles are shrinking in the sun since the rain stopped. Painter says it's from moisture in the wall before painting but wouldn't those be between the wall and the old paint? Anyone have suggestions?
