We have a toilet located on top of some very uneven tile. This is obviously causing the toilet to move around a bit and it has now started to leak. Without ripping up and repairing the tile does anyone have any suggestions? Fyi, shims were not helping.

If the shims are placed in the right spot they should work. They need to be right along the outside edge of the toilet. A bit of glue will help to keep them in place.

I bought a piece for the flange to raise it above the tile by a half inch it did the job. I just screwed it over the top of the original and put the toilet back

Draw Lind around bottom of the toilet. Lift toilet purchase a thicker wax ring mix floor grout place ,grout around line on floor , put wax ring on place toilet down on grout (wet grout) and tighten bolt to it's firm wipe excess grout around bottom. When grout dries tighten bolt and toilet should be good in a few hrs ( make sure grout is dry before you sit on it.
