I used a highly rated oil based deck to refinish my deck. I used a highly rated stripping agent followed by sanding with 80 grit sandpaper. Basically followed all the steps. Its been a week since it was done and should have cured. Today it rained and it appears like the water pools on the surface but at the base of the pool it seems to somewhat lift the stain. You can see all the pools have a discoloration. When dry it appears fine with no change in color. Should i put an additional sealer on this? I used 2 coats of oil stain and it aint cheap. not sure what to do. thanks

Was the stain mixed well before using? Could be old stain that's been sitting on the store shelf for a long time.

It was shaken in the store with the machine. So yes it was.

Is there a clear coat I can put on it? Seal it up? Just not sure what to do at this point. Was a lot of work to get to this point and I have never used oil stain before. Always acrylic.
