I have a kenmore dishwasher mod 665 15791793 that leaks around the bottom of the door, as soon as it fills up and starts its cycle. Will leak about 2 soup bowls full of water during entire cycle. Used to be intermittent problem but now occurs on every use. Unit is approx 8 yrs old. Any ideas??
Hi,
**665 15791793**
A Whirlpool built Kenmore.
**hat leaks around the bottom of the door, as soon as it fills up and starts its cycle**
Split spray arm, split/cracked pump cover, too much water, suds in the d/w ( wrong soap, from rince aid ), bad door gasket, bent door hinges, bad door lock are some common trouble makers.

Thanks for the info. another question. was checking the lower spray arm , and the whole assembly is kind of flopping around on there. Checked nut and its tight, but radial bearing that fits on nut doesnt look like the picture in my parts page. Mine is just a flat washer type deal. Is that normal or could this be worn down and causing spray arm to flop around, thus causing my problem.
G'day,
**was checking the lower spray arm , and the whole assembly is kind of flopping around on there.**
It does move up and down a fair bit.

Looks more like a small T.

This will definetly not help!
