We've just moved and have no manuals for appliances. One of the halogen lights in our Kenmore range hood is burned out and we are trying to remove it to get a replacement. It doesn't seem to unscrew and we've 'gently' pulled on it, but it doesn't give. Sears was of no help to us on this.

Anyone know the correct way to remove it??

Here's a couple webpages of halogen styles....perhaps you can visually locate yours and determine the base.....

Not without knowing which 'Kenmore range hood' you have and how it was designed. That is determined by its model number. If you provide that information we can look it up to see what appliance design you're dealing with and maybe find out which bulb is used in it.
