I know this is a really silly question, but I am a novice at this sort of thing and want to make sure I don't end up with a mess. I was trying to finish some shelving and was using Minwax Polycrylic. I ran short and sent my husband to get somemore. He bought Minwax Polyurethane. Can I apply this over the first coat of Polycrylic? Thaks for your input.

I'm betting that Minwax has an 800 number on the label you can call to be sure but I wouldn't do it.
