Does anyone know if "The Porter Cable Collector" Dick Jarmon is still around and where I can reach him? Thanks. Steve

I'm with Steve,

Has anyone had recent contact w/ Dick Jarmon, AKA Mr.Porter-Cable?

I haven't seen him in quite a while.

He's a heck of a nice guy.

I used to be in the tool repair buisness, and he was a wealth of knowledge.(and parts)

He'd stop by the shop occasionally.

I found this forum Google searching for him.

I'm suprised he doesn't have a website to showoff his great collection.

I have a couple P-C circular saws for sale:

Speedmatic 88C-complete, and running I'm pretty sure (I'll have to put a cord on it)

Speedmatic 89, missing guard and handle is broke off behind trigger.

I think it ran too.

I have some good/used assorted metal 315 parts.(guards/handles/cases) I think I have a good armature/gear set too, but I'd have to dig.

My pride and joy is my BK10, polished and running smooth.(there's one in the Smithsonian museum)

Not sure if I'd sell it though.

If the right price is offered, I might be tempted.

Any inquirys, e-mail to:

I have Porter Cable Speedomatic 75--a Model 10--and a Model 89. All 3 saws are running and complete. Also have another saw with busted guard and no power cord Model number unknown. Willing to sell all at reasonable price. These were my father's tools a contractor for 60+ years. Would like to see these with a collector who truly appreciates all the years of building these have made. Can contact me via email [email protected]
