We are remodeling upstairs and having all new plumbing roughed in. I would like to trim out bathrooms. Am I nuts to think I can do this? What aspects of job would let pro handle. I was thinking two tubs and shower base to be installed by pro. I would handle toliets, faucets, etc. Money is tight on project. On a handy scale I am about a 7 of 10.

it's called finish plumbing. Your ahead of the game because the plumber will do the roughing-in. You can set the toilet, install the faucets, etc; etc, and if you need step by step instructions on any finish plumbing, I'll be more then happy to guide you thru the process.
