I Accidentally drilled 3 holes in my PVC vent pipe. I assume its the vent pipe because I live in a single story house and it's a vertical 3 or 4 inch pipe going up. I have already cut the drywall around it. Should I cut the piece out and use a coupler or could I just wrap the coupler around the holes and be safe. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks in advance

SkyKing75 - hi, can you verify it's actually the vent pipe? Have you been up on the roof and checked it out? It seems to me all you'd need to do is seal the holes off with a coupler or even just with epoxy to restore the integrity of the vent pipe. The holes should only let sewer gas smells into the house if they're not sealed back up. I'm not an expert plumber but from what I've seen here on vent pipes, it should be an easy fix. Good luck!
