I just installed a Honeywell CT3300 programmable thermostat. It seems to display the room temp 3 or 4 degrees above other thermometers in room and my old thermostat. Honeywell says their readings are higher because they measure radiant and ambient heat(??!)....but what is the true temp? If govt recommendations say to set temp at 68F during day does that mean 71F on the Honeywell? Please help, I'm confused!
