I'm looking at going with a 12 seer Carrier A/C unit. If I plan on keeping my house for a while, is the extra cash for a puron unit worth it?

Thanks

Find out how long your contractor has been installing 410A systems. Find out how many and get references. These system are extremely finicky and require much different methods of evacuation and charging. Just food for thought.

I have to agree! We sell Puron units and while it's a great idea, it won't be necessary for years to come. Not to mention, if you develop a leak, etc. this refrigerant is EXPENSIVE!
