Floetrol and Primer

Does anyone know if you can use Floetrol w/ a latex primer. I am trying to get a really smooth finish and I have heard Fleotrol is a great product to use w/ latex. However, I don't know if I should use it w/ just the paint or w/ both the paint and primer.

Yes you can use it the latex primer and it will help it flow out smoother and give you more time to work with it.

But, can I use M1 for a more even surface AND floetrol to make my paint go further? Both in the same painting for a large area?
