I bought primer that is a water based and I bought paint that is 100% acrylic latex. I know they say use a latex primer with a latex paint but since this is a water based paint, it should work...huh?? I hope. Give me feedback. Thank you

Acrylic is the highest quality of latex you can buy. There are 100% acrylic primers as well. It just refers to the type of solids that builds the film. The paint should be compatible, your finish coat has a higher quality and better hide that the somewhat less expensive primer you bought. Note in some applications you want a stain blocking primer, these are generally acrylic formulas.
