Hardwood Flooring Layout for Multiple Adjoining Rooms
We are replacing all the carpet on our 2nd floor with the Bruce Lock 'n Fold. Some directions tell you to install parallel to the outside light, some say go with the longest wall. Which is correct? If we apply the light/longest wall rule we have one room where the planks go in the opposite direction of the ajoining room/hall. Is this considered ok? Or should we run the flooring in this room without consideration of the light/longest wall rule so that it is consistent throughout the entire upstairs?
