Each January, CES (Consumer Electronics Show) offers a first look at the technologies poised to shape how we power, protect, and manage our homes. CES 2026 is delivering one of the strongest lineups for home tech that we’ve seen in years, with major innovations from brands like Segway, Tineco, GE, and others. We’re especially excited by EcoFlow’s expanded smart home ecosystem, which is now integrating with platforms like Google Nest and Bosch, alongside its CES Innovation Award–winning Delta Pro Ultra X whole-home power system. With so many compelling products on display, these are some of our favorite home-focused innovations from this year’s show. A few are slated to come to market later this year, but most are already available for your futuristic home.

Smart Home Energy Management System

EcoFlow Ecosystem Alliance

Buy at EcoFlow

The new EcoFlow Ecosystem Alliance will roll out in 2026, integrating EcoFlow clean energy hardware with popular smart home devices—Google Nest, Bosch appliances, and more. In partnership with Homey, an open smart-home platform, EcoFlow Ecosystem Alliance will allow users to power, control, and sync their entire home within a single connected system. That means cool new features like storm prep automations, charging alerts, time of use optimization, real-time monitoring of home energy flows, and customizable automations. Supported EcoFlow products include DELTA 3 series portable power stations, OCEAN Pro home solar battery storage, and DELTA Pro Ultra X + Smart Home Panel 3 whole home backup power system.

New Smart Shade Solution

GE Smart Shades (Matter-Compatible)

Buy at Amazon Buy at GE Lighting

GE’s new Matter-compatible smart shades are a standout at CES 2026 with their clean lines and refreshingly approachable take on automated window treatments. They offer a whisper-quiet motor, a rechargeable magnetic battery, and buyers have the option of blackout or light-filtering fabrics for privacy, comfort, and energy efficiency. What makes them truly innovative is how GE combines hub-free Matter integration, screw-free installation, and polished design into a single system that removes nearly every traditional barrier to smart-shade adoption.

Precision Floor-Care Innovation

Tineco Floor One S9 Scientist

See at Tineco

The Tineco Floor One S9 Scientist pushes smart floor care forward with a refined, streak-free cleaning experience. We’ve tested several Tinecos, and we’re excited about the new features on the S9 Scientist. It offers high-pressure HydroBurst cleaning, intelligent directional sensing, and a slim profile that allows it to reach under furniture for whole-room cleaning. Tineco pairs lab-level precision—real-time sensing, adaptive power, and extended runtime to create one of the most thoughtfully designed wet/dry floor cleaners, making a debut at CES and launching for purchase in Spring 2026.

Segway laid the groundwork for “drop and mow” convenience and a high-quality cut with its early Navimow robotic mowers. We’ve tested them. The arrival of its new X4 Series brings premium performance to larger, more challenging landscapes up to 1.5 acres. This new platform is loaded with cutting-edge technologies, including multi-modal navigation for centimeter-level mapping accuracy, a proprietary drive system that confidently navigates slopes up to 40 degrees, and a rapid charging system. It is IPX6 waterproof, includes Apple “find my” support, and is integration-compatible with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Home Assistant.

Advanced Hands-Free Smart Lock

Aqara Smart Lock U400

Buy at Amazon

The Aqara Smart Lock U400 made a strong debut at CES with its true hands-free technology. Designed for Apple Home users, the U400 leverages Matter over Thread for fast, stable connectivity with Apple Home Key, fingerprint, keypad app, NFC, and physical key access. What makes this smart lock smarter than most is the way Aqara combines next-gen access control in a rechargeable power system that makes it quick and simple to open your door.

Jackery unveiled one of the more refined, rugged, and intentionally engineered power stations we’ve seen. The Explorer 1500 Ultra features a motorsport-inspired sculpted design with multi-faceted beveled corners for impact protection. It boasts level 9 seismic shock protection, 1 meter drop resistance, and IP65 resistance to dust and water. The 1536-watt-hour LFP battery and an 1800W-rated output (3600W peak) deliver consistent power to support heavy-draw applications, whether as a home backup, in an off-grid shop, or at camp.

Ambient "Big Lights"

Govee Sky Ceiling Light

Learn More at Govee

We’re big Govee fans, and their CES debut includes refined indoor lighting designed to enhance ambiance rather than dominate a room. Ever wish you could get a skylight effect without the installation? Govee’s soon-to-release Sky Ceiling Light uses high-density pixels and sky-inspired diffusion to create a natural, customizable overhead light. What sets this release—as well as the rest of its new lighting releases—apart is Govee’s emphasis on precision and softness, bringing creative lighting effects into everyday interiors in a way that feels polished and livable.

Self-Cleaning Robotic Pool Cleaner

AquaSense X System

Pre-Order at Beatbot

Beatbot has revolutionized pool care with the first self-cleaning robotic pool cleaner system, launching in March 2026 but available for pre-orders. The AstroRinse station automatically rinses the filter and empties debris in just 3 minutes, then recharges the robot. Its massive 22-liter capacity handles two months of weekly cleanings before needing attention. Powered by revolutionary Beatbot AI 2.0 with HybridSense technology, the AquaSense X robot recognizes 40 types of debris (double the previous generation), navigates complex multi-level pools with confidence, and cleans every surface from floor to waterline to the water surface itself.

Smartest Kitchen Planning

GE Profile Smart 4-Door French-Door Refrigerator with Kitchen Assistant

Learn More at GE Appliances

GE Profile’s Smart French Door fridge with Kitchen Assistance debuted at CES 2026, with a clear focus on simplifying everyday kitchen tasks, like creating grocery lists simply by scanning a product’s barcode. AI-powered interior cameras help track food inventory, while integrated tools support meal planning and shoppable grocery lists. The result is a smart refrigerator that reduces everyday decision-making by turning routine tasks into streamlined, hands-free actions—available for purchase beginning in April 2026.

Best Front-Door Security Innovation

myQ Secure View 3-in-1 Smart Lock

Buy at MyQ

Chamberlain Group expands its smart-home footprint at CES 2026 with the introduction of its myQ Secure View 3-in-1 Smart Lock—marking the company’s most significant move into front-door access. The device combines a smart lock, 2K HDR video doorbell, and biometric entry features. The focus isn’t novel, but the coordination using AI detection and multiple entry points makes everyday access faster, simpler, and more dependable.
