hello everyone, i am building a new construction home and need help! on one wall there are 2 cantilevers one house french doors and the other a kitchen window above both of these areas there is a small roof that attaches half way up the exterior wall (there is no siding or housewrap on this area) when it rains the water runs down the exterior wall behind this roof and inside the cantilevers is there a good way to seal the top of this roof where it attaches to the wall?

Yes, But you need to be more specific when we cannot see it.

Why no siding?

Is there roofing completed?

Is there gonna be siding eventually?

All walls that join a roof plane need at the least some type of metal flashing that is attached to the wall sheething and then to the top of the last row of finished roofing ( never under ). It`s a good idea to wrap the underlayment ( preferably Ice and water sheild ) up the sheething first.

What is the finish product covering the exterior walls ?

Is the joint level or pitched (angled)?

Again without seeing it, with details, I can solve this minor issue that can warp your wall !!
