Is it better to insulate the basement walls and install a vapor barrier (to keep the humidity level down) or should I not install any insulation before installing the dry wall. I keep getting different opinions on the subject. Someone told me that if the humidity cannot get through, it will damage the concrete blocks foundation in the long run. Is this true??
