The bulb has burned out in our shower room; we are showering in the dark!
Yet, I cannot remove the cover from the light fixture to replace the bulb. It is a round hard plastic cover with no screws and no seams. I assumed it screwed loose and -- with great effort -- it did budge a little when I first tried. But I have tried and tried in both directions. And it will not move.
So? More dark showers? How do I get the cover off?

Sometimes there may be a couple tabs on the lens that hold it in place. Try applying light pressure on the lens pushing the outside of it (in different areas of the plastic bulb cover) toward the middle of the fixture.
No good. The cover is hard plastic, like glass, and doesn't give in any way/direction. I feel convinced it must unscrew, but is just stuck. Any idea on how to "unstick" it?
Sorry for no photo. The cover is about 12 inches in diameter and hangs down from the ceiling about two inches or so. That's another reason it is hard to turn; it is hard to get a grip on.
