I have a 8000 watt generator from Northern Tool that quit putting out any power. The generator still ran but no output.

Checked all the obvious things, circuit breakers,etc. Looked for broken wires, bad connections, no luck. Diodes and capacitors look good, rang the caps.

I believe I have two stator windings and they both are not open.

I have no print and about the only other thing to do is to break it apart and have the rotor checked and possibly the two varistors that are on the other end of the generator head.

Does anyone have any input, ideas or information?
