Hi, can anyone please recommend a caulk or plug to seal the screw/bolt holes in a metal storage shed? Or is there a better product to prevent leakage (besides not getting a metal storage shed :)
This is a new shed that was shoddily constructed by an installer, and I am trying to prevent interior leakage in those screw/bolt holes that don't fit true.

several thousand rubber washers. i built one of these sheds a few years ago, it came with plastic washers that went under every screw head [there must have been a gazillion screws and washers]. i would think the best way to do what you want would be to use a rubber washer under each screw head, atleast on the roofing sections, as these would be more prone to leakage.
the biggest issue i see with trying to use a 'sealer out of a tube', would be a rapid rate of deterioration, and a possible conflict with sticking to the sheds finish.
not sure what you keep in the shed, but i find with mine i only get leakage during severe rain, and snow melt [if i don't keep the top cleared off], but again, anything i keep in it in the winter can get wet a bit [patio furniture and the like].
