We have the GE Artica PSS27 and have had it in operation for about 10 years. It has been one problem after another with the gaskets, frozen ice maker, temperature variability and this morning everything was thawed out, temperatures were 26 and 57 respectively. Nothing would start. So I made a search on line and went to the local Sears store and bought a new Kenmore. This afternoon, it has started running. My conclusion is that the mother board is bad which would explain many of the problems during the year. We had bought one for my daughter a few years ago but hers went during the warranty period which we thought was just a flaw. Guess not. Anyway, mine will be on its way to fridge hell as soon as the new one is delivered. Its not even trustworthy as a second fridge. Incidentally, we have a 30 year old GE profile that is still humming along as a second fridge and has had an excellent life.
