I have a Kenmore dishwasher model number 363.15165791. I unloaded my dishes 2 nights ago, only to discover that they were covered with grit, thinking that my son did'nt rinse them off before washing them, I rinsed them off and washed them again, only to find that they came out with even more grit/sand/dirt.
I removed the fiter located on the bottom of the washer and washed it, but still had some grit.
Is there a filter? How do I "clean" the washer, so it will clean my dishes?

-Some- have a filter across the back bottom of the inside, all should have a sump screen on the floor behind the lower spray arm.
