I'm just looking for the lint trap in this archaic model (yet it still runs terrific!) Does it even have a lint trap? I've checked all along the barrel and also the agitator, but it is no where to be found. The lid does mention in it's troubleshooting section something about a lint screen, but fails to mention where it is. Needless to say, I don't have the manual. Please help....thanks!

We really won't know until we see the model/style of your washer, Kenmore is made by several different companies. One common style has the lint filter hidden under the inner basket ( yes the inner basket must come out to view/check the filter )....this would be a self cleaning style of an lint filter.
