Does anyone know if "The Porter Cable Collector" Dick Jarmon is still around and where I can reach him? Thanks. Steve

I'm with Steve,

Has anyone had recent contact w/ Dick Jarmon, AKA Mr.Porter-Cable?

I haven't seen him in quite a while.

He's a heck of a nice guy.

I used to be in the tool repair buisness, and he was a wealth of knowledge.(and parts)

He'd stop by the shop occasionally.

I found this forum Google searching for him.

I'm suprised he doesn't have a website to showoff his great collection.

I have a couple P-C circular saws for sale:

Speedmatic 88C-complete, and running I'm pretty sure (I'll have to put a cord on it)

Speedmatic 89, missing guard and handle is broke off behind trigger.

I think it ran too.

I have some good/used assorted metal 315 parts.(guards/handles/cases) I think I have a good armature/gear set too, but I'd have to dig.

My pride and joy is my BK10, polished and running smooth.(there's one in the Smithsonian museum)

Not sure if I'd sell it though.

If the right price is offered, I might be tempted.

Any inquirys, e-mail to:

In reply to a couple inquiries, Dick Jarmon, The Porter-Cable Collector is still collecting, tho not much left to look for. I quess that is success?

Still have a house full of obsolete parts.

Dick Jarmon,
