I would like to know the answer to this also.

But I remember reading somewhere that the date of manufacture is buried in the serial number.

Can anyone help with this... give an example, etc.?

Thanks,

Gary

I bought one of these from a neighbor a few years ago. I have the owners manual, operating instructions, and parts booklet. This model was built in 1961.

Now, does anyone out there have any ideal what this machine is worth?

I just bought this on Craigslist.

On the back of the manual it says 1987.

Do the right thing!
