I saw the last 10 seconds (literally) of one of Bob's shows and saw a "build it yourself" butcher block table. It was made from on large butcher block for the top, and metal legs.

Anyone know how I can get more details if I want to make this table?

Q. Is the table sealed in some way to avoid staining?
Q. Where do you get such a block?

etc.

Thanks.

Kishka,

Check out Bally Block website at www.mapleblock.com. They have a list of sizes and info you desire. Seal the butcher block with Good Stuff by Bally.

As far as the legs go. You might check with a commercial kitchen supplier in your area. Or better yet a metal fabricator who does stainless.

I would like to get the dimensions of the stainless steel legs and frame of the butcher block table. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

Maddog44,

Check the above website I mentioned. They do have some legs available.
