I just discovered an open sewage line in my crawlspace which looks like it was intended to connect to a vent pipe. The vent pipe is near by, open at the bottom and top and apparently not connected to any other pipe. This is PVC pipe. What is the proper way to connect these?
Thanks!

PVC cement and primers and couplings.

Fit all the pieces together first then once you have the measurements correct disassemble and glue and put together FAST.

Wear eye and hand protection and follow directions on the PVC primmer and glue and make sure the area is well ventilated
