We have a new hot water heater, but water does not get as hot in one shower vs one closer to the water heater. We also have a shower that drips when water is turned off. Any solutions or do we need to hire a plumber? Thanks!

1- Leaking hot water is a double whammy as your losing a lot of water and your wasting a lot of fuel plus drips that go un repaired will score the seats of faucets and shower body's which will eventually destroy it

2- The difference of temperatures can be attributed un insulated piping or an outside wall or the set up of the shower body which may have scald guard protection.

Sight unseen it is impossible to give you an easy fix.

In this case call a licensed plumber and ask to see the license as the license is for your protection as many places will not allow one to have a license without proper insurance and training
