recently had a new vented gas fireplace that uses propane gas installed,, however the pilot light lights ok, but the problem is this....i have a switch that says low or high on it and when you turn it the flame doesn't go up any,, the flame is very low actually so low that you see mostly the blue pilot light and very very low flames...almost none on the top log ...we have it hooked to a wall thermostat that keeps it a certain temperature but even if you crank the thermostat up alot it doesn't do anything. they told us to call the gas company that installed the propane and have them make sure the gas pressure was set to 11-14 inches of water.. which we did.. they came and checked it and its ok... any suggestions??? out carpenter that installed it is baffled....
