I want to replace the ugly plastic base moulding in my house with a traditional wood base moulding. All of the doorways are rounded. What do I have to do to make the doorways look good where the moulding meets the rounded doorways?

I'm assuming you have the 1" drywall corners with drywall return doorways.
A molding supply store can match the base to round corners, we always use the radius corners for our base for this kind of application. The chopped up 22.5 mitered corners look horrendous.
