Your first problem is to locate where the leak is coming from.Even on a flat roof, water can travel a great distance before showing up indoors. The spots to pay particular attention to are any areas where an object goes through the roof such as a chimney, plumbing vent, exhaust fans, skylights, etc, etc. It is unlikely you will find a hole in the roof directly over the inside leak.Do a careful inspection, and don't rule out areas which may be slightly raised (ie;flashing)which may be under water during a heavy rain.Any areas you may question can be treated with a gob of roof patch.Have mineral spirits on hand as roof patching can easily turn messy.Best of luck!
